Ee Ling Lim
Regional Director of Asia Pacific
Global Innovation at 500 Startups
Ee Ling Lim is the Regional Director of APAC, Global Innovation at 500 Startups, where she heads business development in APAC.
In her role, she partners with governments, corporations, and foundations to design and develop startups ecosystems and innovation programs and supporting them in building relationships with startups around the world.
Prior to 500 Startups, Ee Ling was an Investment Banker with Bank of America Merrill Lynch and CIMB Investment Bank, executing M&A, equity and debt capital market transactions in Southeast Asia.
Ee Ling is also the Co-Founder and CEO of Smarter Me, a K-12 edutech startup headquartered in Singapore, that equips primary and secondary school students with the skillset, mindset, and heartset to define their own success and happiness in the future. Through digital technology and entrepreneurship education, children develop mastery in problem-solving, critical-thinking, collaboration, and creativity.

Nick Davison
Director of Southeast Asia
Global Innovation at 500 Startups
Nick leads Global Innovation for Southeast Asia at 500 Startups. Nick focuses on developing partnerships with corporates, government agencies, and other institutions. He has advised on corporate innovation strategies across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Australia.
Previously, Nick was the Chief Revenue Officer of Sunway Ventures - the investments and venture building arm of Sunway Group. During his tenure, this division launched four new ventures, a Series-A VC fund, and an innovation lab (hosting its own annual accelerator program).
Prior to Sunway, Nick was the General Manager of Online Media at TEG Media, a boutique media company. Nick launched and managed TEG’s online media business. This included leading efforts to build the digital media portals, the online readership, and the advertising clientele, such as BMW, Volvo, Grab, KLM Airways, and more.
Additionally, Nick served on TEG’s senior management committee, advising on operations and strategies for all business units.
Ayumi Ode
Director of Japan
Global Innovation at 500 Startups
Ayumi is the Director of Japan at 500 Startups where she leads 500’s innovation and partnership efforts related to startup acceleration, corporate innovation, and ecosystem building in Japan. She is also the Special Advisor for Startup Ecosystem Development at Shibuya City Government in Tokyo.
Prior to 500, Ayumi was a leading executive at an educational startup and at a tech startup specialized in cloud services based in Tokyo, Japan. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Columbia University Barnard College.

Yasunori Naito

Yasunori NAITO joined Uzabase in 2016 and has been engaged in helping corporate users of SPEEDA to expand their business in the region by offering industry analysis, company data and new business trends in its platform.
Before Uzabase, Yasunori has ten years of management consulting experience in Accenture, and engaged in cross-border change management, organization strategy in emerging market and so forth.
